Nintendo has announced an all-star voice cast for its new animated Super Mario Bros movie.
Based on the iconic computer games which have been delighting fans for the past 30 years, it’s certainly an interesting line-up.
Chris Pratt is set to voice the titular Italian plumber while Charlie Day will play his brother, Luigi.
The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy is confirmed as Mario’s love interest Peach and Jack Black will tackle baddie Bowser.
The new flick is slated for release in time for Christmas 2022.
It’s not the first time Mario has graced the big screen. There was a live-action film in 1993.
