This is the dramatic moment a train smashes into a truck that is stranded across a level crossing, causing it to explode into a fireball.
The shocking footage was captured by an off-duty firefighter in Indianapolis.
The truck which was carrying barrels of starch had stalled halfway across the track with the driver’s cab clear, but was unable to move and the train had no chance of stopping.
After the impact, flames are seen exploding from the rear of the truck.
The fire department said there were no injuries but debris was spread 50 feet from the site of the collision.
A mangled section of the trailer was impaled on the front of the train engine.
