An official from the World Health Organization (WHO) warned Friday that all countries must "stay vigilant" as coronavirus continue spreading and mutating across the world. Speaking at a virtual press briefing in Manila, WHO Regional Director Takeshi Kasai told reporters that the pandemic is far from over and countries must prepare against case surging driven by the Omicron variant.
