Sounds of gunfire are heard from a residential area of Kiev near Victory Avenue as the Ukrainian capital wakes up to the third day of the Russian invasion of the country. Russia "attacked one of the military units on Victory Avenue in Kiev. The attack was repelled," the Ukrainian military said on its verified Facebook page, without specifying where exactly the incident took place.
