Kevin Bacon wanted to "self-sabotage" his popularity after Footloose. The 56-year-old actor gained his fame and notoriety from the 1984 dance classic, but was uncomfortable with his new-found status. Bacon admitted that he "tried to self-sabotage that piece of myself and my popularity."
