Paris (AFP) – Dozens of tents lined the banks of the Canal Saint-Denis in northern Paris, until French police carried out the evacuation of the makeshift migrant camp. Young migrants seeking to have their minority status recognised packed their few belongings into garbage bags marked with the Paris city logo early in the morning.
