Santa Catarina (AFP) – At least eight people have been killed after a hot air balloon with 21 passengers caught fire in southern Brazil, according to the governor of Santa Catarina state, where the incident occurred. It was the second fatal balloon accident in the vast South American country in less than a week after a woman died during a balloon ride in southeastern Sao Paulo state.
