(AFP) – In der indischen Region Jammu, die an Kaschmir grenzt, hat nach den Erdrutschen und Sturzfluten nun das große Aufräumen begonnen. Wer das Hochwasser überlebt hat, ist dankbar. Viele hunderte Menschen starben. “We couldn’t open the doors and evacuate our belongings beforehand. We only evacuated the children and didn’t worry about locking the house,” the woman says as she recounts the events that killed at least 30 people. “We just escaped.”
