New York (AFP) – New York’s mayor elect Zohran Mamdani says his decisive victory shows a way to defeat US President Donald Trump, who has been a fierce critic of the young Muslim’s Democratic socialist policies. “If anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it is the city that gave rise to him,” Mamdani tells a cheering crowd in New York.
