Munich (Germany) (AFP) – Krampus figures, demonic characters from Central Alpine folklore linked to punishing misbehaving children with birch rods, march through the streets of Munich during an annual Christmas parade. The costumed procession forms part of pre-Christmas traditions in southern Germany.
