Former Brazilian Olympian-turned-broadcaster hails National Sliding Center
A former Brazilian Winter Olympian has hailed the quality of the facilities at the ongoing Beijing Olympics, saying he wishes he had the chance to tackle the course at the National Sliding Center himself. Ricardo Raschini, who was the first luger to represent Brazil when he took part in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics before returning as a bobsledder at the 2006 Turin Winter Games, has been closely following proceedings in the Chinese capital in his current capacity as a sports commentator.
