Edinburgh (AFP) – IMAGES King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla leave St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh after a vigil honouring the late Queen Elizabeth II. The King and his three siblings Anne, Edward and Andrew held a silent vigil at the queen’s coffin for around 10 minutes.

Strasbourg (France) (AFP) – The European Parliament in Strasbourg holds a minute of silence in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II as they open their plenary session. Parliament speaker Roberta Metsola leads the tribute by saying: “Few have shaped global history like Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and her words on European unity spoken in this European Parliament in 1992 still resonate today.” IMAGES
